The kitchen works with suppliers who can provide consistent quality across the season rather than chasing novelty for every menu. Grain, roots, cultured dairy, lake fish and preserved fruit create a recognisably northern table. Breakfast supports early departures, while dinner stays relaxed enough to enjoy several nights in a row.
Planning a straightforward country break
Two nights allow one full outdoor day, a long supper and an unhurried departure breakfast. Guests adding a third night can visit nearby producers or keep the day deliberately open.
